About JH Woods...

JH's love of games started early. His first memory of gaming is sitting in his uncle's floor, playing Excite Bike on his cousin's NES. Eventually he received his own Nintendo, and soon after, become an elitest snob by playing Ghosts & Goblins for months on end until he beat it (a feat he has only managed once). JH has many memories of gaming during the height of the Nintendo craze. He was enraptured by games like Final Fantasy 3, Secret of Mana, and of course, A Link to the Past. It was shortly after this that he found his second great love, Dungeons & Dragons.
Rarely getting to play, but having an interest in bards (even in first edition!), JH found himself locked into the dungeon master roll more often than not. He started running games from modules but found this somewhat boring. JH wrote his own stories at first in the greyhawk, or forgotten realm settings, and later the Eberon setting even though his players begged for Dark Sun, or Mystara and he would frequently punish them with time in Ravenloft. In his late teens he started wearing black, listening to depressing music, and playing vampire the masquerade, which, thankfully, that was just a phase.
At last in the year 2004 he found the second to last of his great passions. World of Warcraft is more than a feeling after all. He started as a young Tauren running around Mulgor. He hit level 60 several months after his friends, and proceeded to threaten their lives when they decided to switch to Alliance. He later threatened them again after leveling a human paladin (if you played in vanilla you may feel his pain). After a solid expansion of raid healing he swore not to do that in the next xpack, only to rerolled as a blood elf paladin.
JH is not a smart man.
He later rectified this by playing a druid off tank, and raid leader for his Alliance guild.
Several years passed, and JH continued with his love of gaming playing things like Monster Hunter Tri, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, The Dark Souls/Blood borne series, and most WWE games because its still real to him, damn it! Several boring events happened like the birth of his two children, and meeting Milly McAdams. His family now includes his wife Milly, his four children, and two cats!
